Ten years after its last rebranding effort, ICMA’s brand had become diluted and out of step with current design trends. ICMA needed a more flexible structure that reflected the passion, innovation, professionalism, and momentum of its member base. They also needed a system that unified their many, previously-disparate initiatives and programs, strengthening brand recognition across the board, yet flexible enough to grow with the organization.
This rebranding altered every aspect of ICMA's brand identity, from colors and fonts, to logo architecture, to their video content and convention materials. The project culminated in a full-scale website redesign, which not only modified the brand visually, but re-organized the architecture based on current priorities. Responsive and flexible, this new brand will grow with ICMA, while maintaining their professionalism and momentum.
