I LOVE the movie Moulin Rouge. It's literally my favorite movie of all time. Ewan McGregor, Nicole Kidman... JIM BROADBENT! Don't get me started.... So when NYC's Theatre C asked me to design the graphics for their Moulin Rouge-inspired dance party, I jumped at the chance. 

The final design harkened back to the original movie without being derivative. Using a combination of photos from stock imagery as well as images of the company's members and party attendees, we created an atmosphere that gave the feeling of the original Moulin Rouge culture, while also placing the queer-friendly nature of Theatre C's party front and center. 

The logo was created as a small stamp for an instagram campaign to tie all collateral together, whether online, in print, or at the event itself.
